Angad Gopaldas

Over the span of a decade, Angad has worked with the private and public sectors, as well as with worldwide donors such as the South African Government, World Bank, and African Development Bank. He has a passion for people development and education. He has proven entrepreneurial experience across various sectors including textile, wholesale and education, with deep expertise in logistics and operations. Before occupying his current post as the Managing Director of his own property management company, Angad was the Head of Operations at the African Leadership University, where he designed and set up processes and systems for the overall running of the Mauritian operations. In addition, his professional experiences include economic consulting with developmental projects across Africa, and developing a brand strategy for a leading coffee chain in China.

Mehak Gopaldas

Mehak is a skilled business professional, currently working in management consulting. Given its project-based nature, Mehak’s exposure includes a vast variety of industries and geographies; from cost optimisation in the South African energy sector, to UAE portfolio growth strategy across Oil & Gas, Construction and Metals, and Gulf Financial Services. Her previous experience consists of retail banking for the middle class and youth mass markets, with a focus on financial inclusion. Additionally, she has worked in the African start-up environment, with two important economic focuses: skills repatriation back to the continent, and education in Africa. Mehak is a Chevening Scholar and alumna of South Africa’s Brightest Young Minds.

Dinesh Tulsidas

Dinesh is the Managing Director of the Jetha Tulsidas Group which is the leading brand of traditional and ethnic wear in Mauritius. Over the years, the Group has diversified into the real estate business and also operates a Freeport Company which exports to several African countries. His group employs over 300 people across the island. Dinesh is a Board Director at Jubilee Insurance and a member of Mauritius Institute of Directors. He has been a member of JCI for over 5 years and the Round Table Mauritius for 10 years. Dinesh has recently joined YPO, a global leadership community of more than more than 29,000 chief executives in 130 countries who are driven by the belief that the world needs better leaders. Through these affiliations, he has robust experience when it comes to business across sectors and geographies.

Ronak Gopaldas

A prominent voice in print, radio and television in both the local and international media, Ronak has made frequent appearances on the likes of CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and CNBC Africa, and publishes regular opinion and analysis pieces. He has spoken at several of the world’s top universities and at leading Africa-focused policy and business conferences as a moderator, panelist and keynote speaker. Prior to joining Mindflux Ltd., Ronak worked in Investment Banking where he headed up Country Risk, looking after the emerging markets portfolio with a focus on the African continent. Ronak is an alumnus of the prestigious Tutu Leadership Fellowship, the Asian Forum on Global Governance as well as the young African Leadership Initiative. In 2016, he delivered a powerful TEDx talk entitled Embracing Africa: Beyond the Binaries.
